Partial birth abortion and induced dilation and extraction (final maps and explanation)The language of intact dilation and extraction On April 18, 2007, the Supreme Court upheld the ‘Partial birth abortion act of 2003’ passed by congress to limit the use of an abortion procedure known in the medical community as intact dilation and extraction, which is a late term procedure that involves the removal of an intact, but lifeless fetus from the uterus. The procedure itself is rarely used in the United States, and is very rarely the only option. Politicians and conservative religious groups successfully coined the term ‘partial birth abortion’ in order to represent this medical procedure in a non-specific way in order to illicit an emotional response from the American public and to build support against it. Recent legislation around the topic is now being used, in the views of many, to begin to reverse the abortion policy in the United States established by Roe vs. Wade that upholds abortion rights for a woman based on the principle that the well being of the mother must come first.

Imperial GruntWell, here is my project. It is not what I expected as it was bear to wrestle into a few pages than I had anticipated. I am glad to have made something work (I had my doubts there for a while). The intent of this project is to give an inside view of what is actually happening in Iraq and how it impacts the soldiers and Iraqis. There are a lot of ideas in here that are intended for a much larger work and can surely use some elaborating and revision so hopefully it is not too abstract. I have been working on a writing voice that both honors the warrior and attacks the reasons for war and this has been avenue for that in spite of its state of completion. Any critisisms or feedback is most welcome. Cheers-Phil Text For Concept Map (Which will be posted later...)People in favor of hunting believe that it will initially cut down on the animal population. Without the opportunity of hunting there would be a ton more animals compared to humans. Some fear that they could eventually take over. It is also a great source of healthier meat and food. Being up early will also give a person the chance to enjoy the beautiful view points and the exquisite scenery. Many also hunt for the recreational sport aspect and for the big “trophy,” which results in who has the biggest antlers or head over the fireplace. Hunting can also be very productive and a wonderful form of exercise.
