Also bring your final draft of your research paper along with the most recently edited draft containing feedback you got from peers and/or the writing center. There are no more book seminars this quarter.*

1. Describe a real-life situation from your own life that mirrors at least one or two of the elements that Johnson lays out as perpetuating our system of privilege, power, and difference. Be specific in linking theory to real life. Include page numbers and direct quotes. This should be a situation that happened to YOU or involved you personally.
Tuesday morning: Come to COM 110 and we will open with a discussion of privilege and proceed to the Lecture Halls to listen to the New Orleans Monologues at 11 am.
