Karen,

It seems like so many of the responses are focused on the benefits of social relationships, as well as the benefits of quieting the mind, and slowing down the body. 

I was pleased to see you are trying new things (going to the temple, participating in Kiva) as well as relying on some tried and true methods (BBB, walking with your fiance'). 

Do you see others catching on to the need for this and then really living it, or mostly reading about it, talking about it, and then drifting back to old thought-action tendencies?
