I loved reading your blog on the activities. I agree with exercise. In fact, I teach group fitness as my job. I find it really helps me but I also see that it helps my members too. Keep it up! Music is also such a great way to relax. I find music can really change my mood-depending on the music I choose.
Reading about you helping your elderly neighbor and then turning into something different...talking and listening really touched me. I have found so often in my life that if I just slow down and stop "doing" for others and instead just "listen" and interact that is what they truely want more than all the "doing". Not that that is not needed also but I think we forget to just care about them as people. Ditto for the kids you are helping. That is hard but you sure did help.
