This course will introduce students to the theory and basic skills of neon fabrication. Student will heat, bend, weld and anneal glass tubing. Students will be instructed in the four basic bends and other techniques and will use these techniques to fabricate several creations of their own design. Students will be guided through the bombarding process and receive instruction in the wiring, mounting and safe attachment of high-voltage transformer to energize their neon sculptures.
