Forgiveness

I had to think about this one for awhile, because the first one that I would have to forgive would be myself. I realized that as I have grown in my life everything that has happened to me was because of my decisions. Forgiveness is something that you do when you have been wronged by someone, but how can you be wronged by anyone when you have the ability to choose how you deal with what they have done or you have perceived that they have done to you. This means that emotions play a major part in this and you can control your emotions and reactions.

Second Activities

Sorry I thought that I had already posted these

The third activity I picked was “A Beautiful Day.” This one was a little more of a challenge for me because I feel that everyday I wake-up, I have a beautiful day. So I had to put it on paper to test this theory. First when I wake up, I would have breakfast and read the paper. I chose this because it would relax me before I got started. Then I would shower and dress and start my day.

I really enjoyed our time at the EMP and the activities that was there for us to do. I wish that we would have had time to do the group band for Mark's wall, but we stayed to long at the restaurant. I learned some things that I didn't know about the music scene in the State of Washington. I found the whole expierence very uplifting and will be doing more things like this in the future. Just think I was educated while having fun,go figure.

The Resilience Factor

I found this book very interesting and informative. I really got a fulkl understanding of how I think  sometimes when things are not going right for me. The thought process that I use is very intriguing to me, for the way my mind works shows me that sometimes I have the ability to not process what I see and hear in the right manner. I love the four principles or pillars that they talk about in the book. They are what is going to help me with my thinking. I find that I need to know myself to make any changes which means that I need to work on at least three or four of my strengths to improve my resilience. I plan on working on the first two as soon as possible. I find that I have to avoid the thinking traps that the book talks about.
