Of Faith and Passions

Artist’s Statement

Of Faith and Passions is a lyrical essay commenting on the importance of faith and passion while working on the things one cares about. I spent a lot of time thinking about what keeps me studying music, writing and whatever else I fill my time with, even and especially when it becomes difficult. Visually the pictures and writing don’t really match up in a literal sense; mostly they serve to give context, though I did try to have a few pictures match the spirit of the writing. There was no research to be done, though I did read pieces from author whom I greatly admire, Kahlil Gibran. I enjoy the emotional impact his writings have and he was an early inspiration to me.
